Cody, who is a lifelong resident of North Iowa, attended the University of North Iowa where he was accepted into the College of Business and studied accounting and real estate.  He started his career as a Sales Associate in 2004  at Schoneman Realtors' Clear Lake location and later became a Broker Associate in 2009.

Cody set his standards high from the very start, earning himself Iowa's "Rookie of the Year" award and later becoming a member of the "Council of Residential Specialists (CRS)" in 2006.  In 2011, Cody added the National Association of Realtors' "Green" Designation to his resume.  Along side his four brothers, Cody makes up the 3rd generation of family to sell real estate in North Iowa!  The family-owned business has office locations in Mason City, Clear Lake and Garner and has been providing unsurpassed customer service since 1976.
